To enhance your well-being and regain a sense of enjoyment in life without the weight of anxiety and the fear of failure or missed opportunities, it is essential to learn how to transform this emotional state. Our One-on-One program is specifically designed to address fear and anxiety from a Mindfulness perspective. Through the course, you’ll gain insights into the areas of your life where anxiety has taken hold and explore its origins. With this understanding, you can respond to daily situations more effectively. The program includes six sessions and a day of silence held over four consecutive days. Each session, held in the morning and afternoon, will combine theoretical teachings with meditation and Yin yoga practices.
Your Journey
Throughout your stay, you will be introduced to a diverse range of mindfulness meditation techniques. These will include mindful eating, body scan, attention to the breath meditation, and mindful walking. Additionally, you’ll learn proactive strategies to address stress. To reinforce your learning, you will receive mindfulness assignments to complete in between sessions, thereby extending your practice throughout your stay.
Benefits:
The first session is an introduction to Mindfulness. You will learn about the concept of Mindfulness and how it is practiced. Mindful Intelligence Algarve will conduct an informal practice of conscious eating and a formal meditation practice called Body Scan. To ensure continuity throughout your stay, each session will end with a Mindful investigation and an activity plan for you to practice until the next session.
In the second session, we will explore the impact of beliefs and assumptions on your perception of reality. You will identify which fear-based beliefs are most prominent in your life and gain insight into how they shape your daily experiences. Through deconstruction, you will learn how to challenge and overcome these limiting beliefs.
During the third session, you will explore the messages conveyed by various emotions and learn how mindfulness practices can help you navigate their ebbs and flows. By the end of this session, you will develop skills to recognize, manage, and respond mindfully to challenging emotional states.
In the fourth session, we will examine anxiety in-depth. Anxiety can be a significant barrier to personal growth and happiness, causing disconnection from yourself and others. You will investigate the underlying causes of fear and its effects on your life. Through this session, you will acquire strategies to overcome anxiety.
During the Day of Silence, you will have opportunities for both formal and informal practice. You will have the chance to apply all the techniques you have learned, ensuring that you are fully prepared to integrate them into your life beyond the program’s conclusion.
The fifth session focuses on mindful communication. You will learn how to communicate mindfully and effectively, achieving the best possible outcomes in both professional and personal relationships with family, partners, or co-workers.
The final session focuses on integrating mindfulness into your daily life. Drawing upon the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program, you will develop a plan to incorporate mindfulness into your daily routine. This plan will involve a wise combination of both formal and informal practices tailored to help you achieve your personal goals.

Food
The price of the program includes daily breakfast and lunch. These meals are prepared exclusively using locally-sourced ingredients based on the southern Portuguese diet. This includes fresh eggs from the farm’s coop, seasonal fruits from the orchard, vegetables from the garden and surrounding areas, sheep and goat cheeses, smoked meats, and preserved fish from Isla Cristina to Faro (salted or smoked). The farm’s own fruits are also used to create compotes and chutneys.

Accommodation
Companhia das Culturas is an organic and sustainable ecotourism establishment, established in 2008. Situated in the southeastern part of Algarve, it borders the Castro Marim Nature Reserve. The property offers a unique environment for contemplation, relaxation, sharing, and reflection without the distractions of television or background music. It is a place where guests can fully appreciate the beauty of time passing slowly.
You will be accommodated in one of the architecturally designed lime, smoothed cement, wood, and cork rooms (four rooms and four suites) each with its own unique size, layout, decoration, and specifications. All rooms, suites, and apartments are air-conditioned. Additionally, there is a cork box made from the huge garage of the thresher which serves as a space for the program, as well as the Tuesday and Saturday yoga classes that are included in your stay.
Imagine a place where each day, nature’s cycles and the unhurried passage of time are celebrated. The walls and structures hold stories of their own and are appreciated for the memories they contain. Silence is a source of harmony rather than discomfort.

In today’s fast-paced world, I firmly believe that mindfulness is a highly effective tool for improving both mental and physical health. I hold a Degree in Exercise and Health, and I have extensive experience in developing, implementing, and facilitating personalized mindfulness-based stress reduction retreats in 5-star hotels located in Algarve, Portugal. These programs are designed to accommodate individuals of all nationalities and religious backgrounds.

The retreat location is Castro Marim, Algarve, Portugal, situated within Companhia das Culturas, a sustainable and organic eco-tourism establishment located in the southeastern part of Algarve. The property is 1.5 kilometers from Praia Verde beach, four kilometers from the historic town of Castro Marim, and six kilometers from Ria Formosa Nature Reserve.
