The morning class is dynamic and based on the Vinyasa style, which synchronizes poses with the breath, creating a soft and smooth flow. Guided Walk

This medium-level hike lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, covering the most picturesque section of the coastline, and culminates at a beach where visitors can enjoy lunch while observing dinosaur footprints.

Massage treatment

For centuries, massage has been utilized by humans as a therapeutic technique. It has been known to provide relaxation to both the body and mind. At Shamballah Retreats, a variety of holistic massage therapies are available to promote overall well-being.

Ayurvedic massage

Ayurvedic massage is known for its ability to activate and enhance blood circulation, the respiratory system, and overall vital energy in the body. This therapeutic massage is particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing muscle aches, spine-related issues, or limited flexibility. The technique combines traditional deep-tissue Indian massage with targeted stretches inspired by yoga postures, employing natural and essential oils. Accommodation

This high-quality house is capable of accommodating up to eight individuals in three bedrooms, with four in the master bedroom and the remaining guests in two twin rooms. There are three available bathrooms, one of which features a large Jacuzzi that will be incorporated into the program.

In addition to a mini gym, the house includes a living room with comfortable sofas, a pool table, and a large terrace suitable for outdoor enjoyment. The property’s 350 square meters of lawn offer a serene connection to nature, with the soothing sounds of birds and the ocean in the background.

The surrounding walks are truly exceptional, with three impressive beaches located nearby. The accommodation rates are as follows: €1150 per person in a shared double room, €1500 per person in a private single room, and €2300 for two people in a private double room.

During the high season, which runs from the 1st of June to the 30th of September and from the 18th of December to the 6th of January, all prices will be increased by 100 euros.

Patricia Graça

Meet Patricia, a native of Lisbon, with over 27 years of experience as a certified Yoga (Vinyasa flow and Hatha), Fitness, and Pilates Instructor. Her classes feature unique sequences and exercises tailored to all levels, emphasizing a balanced and healing practice that nurtures the body, mind, and soul. Additionally, Patricia has worked as a ZenShiatsu Therapist since 2005, focusing on balancing individuals’ energies and aligning their physical, mental, and emotional bodies. Her dedication to holistic wellness extends to her daily meditation practice, which she has been committed to since 2009.

Zarqa

Zarqa, born in Lisbon in 1977, embarked on a journey of self-discovery in 2001, leading him to meet his spiritual teacher and later embrace a monastic lifestyle at a meditation school from 2009 to 2015 before returning to Portugal. With extensive training in Ayurvedic massage since 2004, Zarqa specializes in a unique style. His upbringing by the ocean instilled in him a profound connection to the element, and he has developed a deep passion for surfing. Zarqa firmly believes that a healthy body and mind are critical for achieving clarity and unlocking one’s full potential.

Location

Praia da Aguda boasts a stunning and untamed beach that stretches along the cliffs, providing an idyllic destination for adventurous souls seeking tranquility and breathtaking scenery. Although access requires a climb down a flight of stairs, the beauty of the beach makes the effort worthwhile. A leisurely stroll along the coastline, extending two kilometers in either direction, leads to Magoito beach and the awe-inspiring village of Azenhas do Mar, perched atop the cliffs. The location is perfect for those who love exploring on foot and immersing themselves in the beauty of nature.

Conveniently located nearby are several attractions, including the picturesque village of Azenhas do Mar, a mere 15-minute walk away. The beach can be reached in just 10 minutes on foot, while the historic town of Sintra is a short 10-minute drive away.

How to get there?

If you are arriving by airplane, we recommend booking your flight to Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS). Upon request, we can arrange transfer services to and from the airport for your convenience.

If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take the metro from the airport to Rossio, where you can catch a train to Sintra. At Portela de Sintra station, you can then take a bus to Fontanelas or Azenhas do Mar. Shamballah Retreats can pick you up from there, as it’s just a one-minute drive from the venue. Please inform them of your arrival times so they can assist you with the bus schedules.

  • To secure a reservation, a deposit of 14% of the total price is required.
  • If a booking is canceled, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • The remaining balance of the payment should be paid on arrival.

La calidad del entorno, la meditación y el yoga, así como la amabilidad tanto de los profesores como del grupo, hicieron que la experiencia fuera inolvidable. Aunque siempre hay margen de mejora, me gustó todo en general. Patricia y Zarqa hicieron un trabajo excelente. Quizá habría sido aún mejor si hubiera habido alguna clase al aire libre, pero la sala donde se realizaron las sesiones era acogedora y agradable.
