I had an amazing opportunity to both meet wonderful individuals and enhance my windsurfing abilities :) I was able to make significant strides in a brief period. The sessions were very laid-back yet stimulating :) They were tailored precisely to my current proficiency level and remained enjoyable throughout.

The windsurfing classes took place in a stunning bay location that was only a 20-minute drive from the villa. Martin, the instructor, was highly skilled and capable of teaching groups of 3 to 5 people, ranging from beginner to upper intermediate levels. Each of us was extremely pleased with our progress and felt satisfied with the lessons. Additionally, there was no time limit imposed on us to practice after the 3-hour session. Eline, the yoga teacher, also surprised us with her ability to tailor the class to our individual needs, taking into account our bodies and any injuries we had. The class also included meditation, which lasted for over an hour and a half. Both instructors were not only friendly but also entertaining. The villa was decent, with the exception of the small, uncomfortable beds. However, the twin room was spacious and had a balcony, and the house was always kept clean. The garden was a great place to unwind and socialize while enjoying meals together.

The responsive personal coach suggested engaging in alternative activities like wave surfing during periods of less intense wind, which proved to be enjoyable and educational for us.

My experience in Corralejo was enjoyable with windsurfing in the morning and yoga in the afternoon, although the schedule was subject to changes. Overall, I am satisfied with my trip as I was able to have fun in the sun while participating in sports and relaxation. Despite being a beginner, I learned quite a bit about windsurfing and even became convinced by yoga, which was never the case before. However, it's worth noting that being adaptable is crucial if you choose this trip as the organization can be a bit flaky. The contents of the packages are blurry, schedules frequently change, guesthouse rooms can be double-booked, and people come and go frequently. The instructors, Eline and Martin, are helpful and kind, although Martin can sometimes appear grumpy and frustrated. Nevertheless, he is an excellent teacher who knows his stuff and makes the learning experience fun. Eline customizes her classes for each participant, making them more comfortable or intense as necessary. She also takes her time, making each yoga session a delight. The guesthouse was pleasant, with a beachfront location and a terrace oriented toward the sun and a jacuzzi. It was relatively clean, although I heard that's not always the case. If you're looking for an affordable stay in Corralejo, this is a good option, but there are probably more charming houses elsewhere.

Thanks to Martin and Eline, my first experience with windsurfing and water sports in general was fantastic! Martin is an excellent teacher who is friendly, empathetic, honest, and responsible. Despite starting at level 0, by the end of day 5, I was able to independently windsurf across the training lagoon both downwind and upwind. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to do more! Eline led a beach yoga session every day of windsurfing. She's very relaxed and always asked the group about their tension relief/muscle soreness needs before leading a session that was a perfect mix of core exercise, stretching, and meditation. The surf house (hostel) they booked for me was a fantastic place to stay. It had everything you could possibly need, including multiple bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, many chill-out areas (including a garden!), and the company of other water sports enthusiasts. It was only a short walk away (1 song) from a big grocery store and a little further (2 songs) from the main street with all the bars, clubs, and restaurants. To summarize, I would rate this experience 10/10 and would highly recommend it. I'm even thinking about booking it again next year!
