The Swims:
At The Zest Life, we customize the swimming experiences to suit the preferences of the group. Depending on everyone’s desires and energy levels, we’ll choose the most suitable locations. It could range from awe-inspiring coastal swims on the Isle of Anglesey to serene floating in the magnificent lakes of Snowdonia or even an invigorating dip in some of Wales’ most breathtaking waterfalls. Rest assured, your safety will be our top priority, and we can provide the necessary equipment based on your needs. This retreat welcomes swimmers of all levels of ability. Holistic treatments
There will be plenty of time to indulge in a body treatment or two with one of the superb in-house therapists. They offer a range of massage treatments, from Indian head and Swedish full body, to Tui Na (a Chinese massage similar to Shiatsu). The therapists use organic therapeutic oils to ease away your stresses and strains. Each treatment is 60 GBP for 45 minutes.
Food
At The Zest Life, we prioritize healthy eating as an integral part of our retreats. Our invigorating retreats require ample fuel, which we provide through our delicious plant-based vegetarian menu. After your swim, you’ll be welcomed with a comforting cup of tea or coffee, followed by a wholesome picnic featuring nourishing homemade soup. In the evening, you’ll indulge in a divine two-course meal. Throughout the retreat, we offer a selection of beautiful yogi herbal teas for you to enjoy. With three satisfying meals per day, fresh juices, and healthy afternoon treats, you can be sure to feel nourished.

Welcome to The Coach House, the grandest property within the Plas Cadnant estate. This magnificent country house spans two spacious floors, accommodating up to 11 guests. The impressive upstairs features a dining or sitting room adorned with a large wood-burning stove, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. By night, the soft glow of candles, the fragrance of incense, and the crackling of log fires set the stage for complete relaxation. Indulge in the luxurious experience provided by wonderfully comfortable beds, crisp white linen, fresh flowers, scenic views of rolling parkland, and invigorating power showers.
The Gardens:
Prepare to be captivated by the stunning beauty of our gardens, a sight that never fails to amaze our guests. Over the past 25 years, we have dedicated ourselves to their transformation and meticulous restoration, bringing them back to their former glory. Winter unveils carpets of snowdrops, followed by the vibrant bloom of daffodils in spring. During the summer, sweet peas climb, basking in the sun, and in autumn, the trees don a mesmerizing display of vibrant red leaves that shimmer in the morning light. Regardless of the season you choose to visit, our gardens offer tranquil spaces that invite you to simply be.
The Yoga Space:
Take a leisurely stroll through the walled garden, passing through majestic wooden gates, until you reach the oak-framed building. Inside, you will find an enchanting space with lovingly handcrafted oak beams, high ceilings, and underfloor heating, creating the ideal environment for yoga and meditation practice. Bask in the gentle rays of the rising sun during morning yoga sessions, and in the evening, find serenity as you settle into candlelit relaxation practices. Surrounded by the peace and tranquility of the parkland, this space serves as your sanctuary, allowing you to escape the outside world. All necessary yoga equipment, including mats, blocks, cushions, and straps, is provided, so all you need to do is arrive and immerse yourself in the experience.

For a shared double or twin room, the price per person is 1042 euros. Opting for a private single room costs 1172 euros, while a private double room is available at 1305 euros.

If you prefer to arrive by train, the nearest station is Bangor. From London, you can take a direct train from London Euston to Bangor, which takes approximately three hours. From Bangor station, it’s only a short five-minute taxi ride to Plas Cadnant.
