Daily Journey

You rise from your comfortable bed and make your way to the yoga room, where you spend the next hour practicing meditation, pranayama, and face yoga. With each breath, you feel a sense of calm and peace wash over you, setting the tone for the day ahead.

After your morning practice, you head to the dining area for a delicious breakfast, enjoying a variety of healthy and nutritious options to fuel your body and mind for the day ahead.

Nadiye Gulkan (Niranjana) Turkdogru

A seasoned yoga teacher with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Since 2014, Nadiye has been imparting her expertise in yoga to her students, and in the same year, she established her own yoga school in Istanbul. To date, she has led over 50 training sessions and has been teaching online since 2017, long before the pandemic. With her background in engineering, Nadiye has developed a profound interest in quantum and energy, which has led her to pursue extensive training beyond improving her asana, meditation, and philosophy knowledge and practice. She has adopted a holistic approach, delving into human behavior and energy levels, and authored several training books on yoga asanas, meditation, human anatomy, and energy. Osman Ozhan Kafali

A passionate yoga teacher with a keen interest in body movements and nutrition. With his 200-hour yoga teacher training completed in February 2020 and a background in veterinary technician studies, he brings a holistic approach to his teaching. In addition to being a yoga teacher, he is also a certified first aid responder and a yoga equipment researcher. His dedication to yoga led him to complete a 300-hour teacher training course in September 2020, specializing in Iyengar yoga and alignments. Location

Bodrum, situated in the southwestern province of Muğla in Turkey, is a vibrant port city located at the mouth of the Gulf of Gökova. There are plenty of thrilling outdoor activities in close proximity to the retreat area, including trekking, rowing, diving, kayaking, rafting, horseback riding, kite surfing, windsurfing, and various water sports. The primary airport serving the city is the Milas-Bodrum Airport, and there are frequent ferry services from Kos Island to Bodrum. Local share taxis and buses are the main mode of transportation within the city.

If you’re arriving by airplane, simply book your flight to Milas–Bodrum Airport (BJV). From there, you can hop on a Muttaş bus to the Bodrum city center terminal. Once you reach the city center, you can easily reach OmSiva Yoga School by taking a local minibus or taxi.

My experience was quite enriching, and I learned a great deal about yoga. The place was incredibly peaceful, and the silent walking outside on the beach was particularly beneficial for calming the mind and meditating. Ozman was very attentive and made sure to provide us with vitamin C, tea, and fruit. I'm grateful to both Nadiya and Ozman for their care and dedication. 🙏🤍

It was an incredibly pleasant experience, and I believe that rating it a 5 out of 5 for value for money doesn't do it justice; it's a 10 out of 5 for sure. Although I attended the retreat this time, I'm looking forward to returning for teacher training. I'm grateful to my teachers and everyone I met there for making it such a memorable experience. Nadiye is an exceptional teacher who is incredibly passionate and committed to her practice. Her devotion extends to helping her students expand their practice and even become teachers themselves. I feel fortunate to have had the chance to learn from her and practice with her. The accommodation was outstanding, with ample space, cleanliness, and comfort, making it an excellent value for money.
