Indulge in the ancient healing practice of Agnihotra, a sacred fire ceremony rooted in Ayurveda, alongside crystal therapy sessions, invigorating yoga classes, and guided Yoga Nidra meditations. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to explore a local organic farm boasting over 50 varieties of nourishing fruits and vegetables.
Agnihotra, meaning “healing fire,” originates from the Vedas in India and is a powerful Ayurvedic ritual. It is a practice devoid of religious associations, focusing solely on harnessing the healing energies of fire to strengthen your aura and bolster your immune system. By cultivating a robust immune system and fortifying your aura, you become resilient to external influences.
This retreat is designed to offer privacy and security, catering to couples, solo travelers, and families. Maya, your guide and teacher, will ensure your comfort by residing on the ground floor of the Yoga House Villa while dedicating the entire first floor for your exclusive use. During classes, rituals, meals, meditations, and visits to the local organic farm, appropriate physical distancing of 1 to 2 meters will be maintained.
Agnihotra serves as a means of purifying the atmosphere through the transformative power of fire, fostering a harmonious environment and promoting overall well-being.
As a memento, you’ll receive a bottle of Agnihotra healing ash at the conclusion of the retreat. This ash is infused with life force and has been meticulously analyzed by NASA laboratories, revealing the presence of 92 elements in perfect balance for optimal health. By consuming this healing Agnihotra ash, even months after the retreat, you can continue to fortify your immune system.

Maja has dedicated 24 years to practicing yoga, with her first transformative journey to India in 2011 igniting a deep sense of belonging and happiness. She spends six months annually in India, immersing herself in diverse yoga styles taught by exceptional teachers. Having obtained a 300-hour certification in India and a 500-hour teacher training in London, Maja’s expertise is continuously expanding. Additionally, she holds a certificate in hotel and tourism management from Munich, Germany, and is fluent in German, English, Italian, Slovenian, and Croatian, enabling effective communication and fostering a cosmopolitan approach.

To reach Tuhelj from Zagreb, the quickest route is to take the A2 highway towards Zabok in the north direction. Drive approximately 27 kilometers and then take the Zabok exit from the highway. Once you reach Zabok, kindly inform Maya Yoga House, and our team will be delighted to arrange transportation and pick you up.
