Refund Policies

After realizing that every single tour and retreat seemed to have a complex refund policy, we decided to standardize it.

Things should be as straightforward as possible. Having many refund policies with different rules and conditions is a complex task.

3 Standardized, 1 Custom

We define four refund policies for all tours and retreats purchased on our site: 3 standardized and one custom policy.

We urge all hosts to pick one of the three standardized policies. However, we perceive that you can’t squeeze everything and everybody into perfect little boxes.

Here they are:

1- Free

100% deposit refund for cancellation 1+ days before the tour or retreat beginning date.

The remaining balance is expected upon arrival.

If paid at the moment of booking, a full refund of the remaining balance is available until the day before your tour or retreat start date.

2- Flexible

100% deposit refund for cancellation 30+ days before the tour or retreat beginning date.

50% deposit refund for cancellation 15-29 days before the tour or retreat beginning date.

0% deposit refund for cancellation 0-14 days before the tour or retreat beginning date.

The remaining balance is expected upon arrival.

If paid at the moment of booking, a full refund of the remaining balance is available until the day before your retreat start date.

3- Moderate

Deposit:

100% deposit refund for cancellation 60+ days before the tour or retreat beginning date.

50% deposit refund for cancellation 30-59 days before the tour or retreat beginning date.

0% deposit refund for cancellation 0-29 days before the tour or retreat beginning date.

Remaining Balance:

The remaining balance is expected 30 days before the retreat start date.

If paid at the moment of booking, a full refund of the remaining balance is available up to 30 days before your tour or retreat’s beginning date.

If you cancel 0-29 days before your tour or retreat, the beginning date remaining balance is not refundable.

4- Custom

Defined by the tour or retreat owner.

Refund Info

One of these policies will apply when purchasing a tour or retreat through our site.

Before purchasing a tour or retreat, you must read and understand each policy thoroughly and know which approach has been chosen by each of them.

We know that occasionally things come up, and unanticipated occasions can keep you from going on a trip you’ve scheduled. If you’re sure you cannot make it to the tour or retreat, the most reasonable thing you can do is cancel. Then, it’s always nice to contact us.

To cancel your retreat:

To cancel a tour or retreat, please get in touch with us at [email protected]. Our customer service agents will guide you and refund any applicable amount to your bank account within 14 working days.

Cancellation Disputes

In the point of a dispute, you must report it to us within 24 hours. We can help mediate the situation under our control. We have the final say in all disputes over cancellations.

But of course, our first recommendation is for both parties to solve the problem themselves. This is done by closing any that comes up with understanding, flexibility, compassion, and forgiveness.

From that position, we can always find a solution.
