Tap into the fierce power of your wild woman as you embark on a transformative journey with Full Circle Experiences. Your health and well-being are of utmost importance to us, as we strive to help you discover a profound sense of peace, creativity, and happiness. Immerse yourself in nature’s embrace and unlock a state of clarity where you can truly absorb its abundant gifts.
Your Journey
The essence of womanhood encompasses a profound duality. If you find yourself longing for something more, it is the wild and untamed feminine nature that beckons you. When a woman’s inherent wildness is suppressed, she is left fragmented and incomplete.
The allure of the woods, waterfalls, lakes, and mountains resonates deep within, awakening ancient memories and forging an unbreakable bond with eternity. Our connection to the wild feminine heals us and breathes life back into our souls. This primal connection may have been buried by societal expectations or disregarded by the prevailing culture, yet deep down in our core, we recognize her. We yearn for her, even if we may have forgotten her name or failed to respond when she calls. She belongs to us, and we belong to her—a sacred bond to be lived out and bestowed ceremoniously upon our daughters.
Upon your arrival in the morning, you are warmly invited to drop off your bags at The Hermitage and immerse yourself in the breathtaking surroundings. Embark on a leisurely stroll around Rydal Water, Grasmere, or Ambleside. Discover the hidden treasures of Rydal caves and be captivated by the enchanting waterfalls behind Rydal Hall. Nab Scar, Buckstones Jump, and Loughrigg await nearby, majestic in their grandeur.

Accommodation
Immerse yourself in nature’s embrace by staying in one of the cozy yurts, nestled just a hundred meters away from the enchanting Rydal Beck. Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of its breathtaking waterfalls and plunge pools. The yurts find their place beneath the majestic canopy of century-old giant redwood trees (Sequoiadendron giganteum) and overlook a thousand-year-old sweet chestnut tree (Castanea sativa). This serene location holds historical significance as it was once the home of renowned poet William Wordsworth, whose residence, Rydal Mount, welcomes visitors.
Follow in Wordsworth’s footsteps as you explore the surrounding areas. From your doorstep, embark on picturesque hikes up Fairfield, Loughrigg, Red Screes, Wansfell, or Rydal Mount. Alternatively, choose to meander along the valley, tracing the path around Rydal Water, Grasmere Lake, and the meandering River Rothay, which revealed otter scat during an environmental survey. Along your journey, you can explore the mystical Rydal Caves and cross the beloved stepping stones on your way to Ambleside. Rydal is situated on 30 acres of breathtaking grounds in the heart of the Lake District, offering limitless possibilities for invigorating walks.
Within Rydal’s grounds, you’ll discover beautifully restored historic gardens and a tranquil, secluded garden ideal for contemplation. Acres of woodlands, complete with a beck and waterfalls, provide a serene backdrop for your exploration, with a convenient footpath leading to Ambleside and Grasmere. Rydal offers the perfect blend of relaxation, inspiration, and retreat for your body, mind, and spirit. Onsite, you’ll find an organic vegetable garden, orchards, and even chickens. Don’t hesitate to ask one of the volunteer gardeners for a tour. The site exudes a serene atmosphere, with visitors often remarking on its inherent calmness.
Rydal boasts ancient and extraordinary heritage trees, as well as a unique abundance of epiphytes—plants and trees that live off other plants and trees, reminiscent of a lush jungle. Come and experience this natural wonder for yourself. The yurts are situated at the top of Rydal Hall’s camping field, offering the best views. Please note that driving your car to the yurts is not possible, as it involves a steep walk. Therefore, pack accordingly and bring sensible shoes. Upon arrival, you will receive a key code for the cabins and a map illustrating the path from the designated car parking spots to the cabins.

Location
The retreat will be held in the charming village of Rydal, situated just one mile away from Ambleside, in the heart of the picturesque Lake District. Rydal is a quintessential destination that embodies the essence of this stunning region. On one side, you’ll find the exquisite gardens of the grand Rydal Hall, while on the other side, untouched ancient woodlands, serene lakes, cascading waterfalls, and open fell sides await your exploration. What makes this location truly exceptional for a rejuvenating getaway is the convenience of being able to walk to all the nearby attractions and amenities.
In Rydal village, you’ll discover the delightful “The Badger’s Bar,” a fabulous pub where you can indulge in real ales and savor delectable cuisine next to a cozy, roaring hearth. The pub is a mere five-minute walk away and often features live music performances by local bands during weekends. If you venture out the back of the pub, you may even catch a glimpse of local badgers feeding at 9:30 p.m., adding a touch of enchantment to your experience.
The Lake District itself is a destination that encompasses a harmonious blend of natural beauty, thrilling adventures, rich heritage, vibrant culture, and delectable cuisine. From towering mountains to serene sandy beaches, from ancient historical sites to modern attractions, the region captivates with its distinct character. Its rugged hills interwoven with a network of lakes, rivers, and shimmering tarns were shaped over millions of years by tectonic movements and sculpted by glaciers during the Ice Age.
Unlike other regions, the Lake District was never fully conquered by the Romans, who maintained a fragile presence through a series of forts whose remnants can still be visited today. Long considered a remote and desolate corner of the country, best viewed from afar on the road to Scotland, the Lake District began to reveal its unique allure in the 18th century. Its previously perceived bleak fells became a haven for those seeking a picturesque escape from the growing industrial towns and cities of the era.
Today, the Lake District stands as a modern hub for outdoor adventure enthusiasts, offering a plethora of activities such as climbing, canoeing, sailing, biking, off-road driving, high ropes courses, paragliding, as well as opportunities for relaxation through scenic walks, boat tours, gallery visits, dining in exquisite restaurants, pub experiences, shopping, enjoying beautiful beaches, exploring museums, attending cinemas, visiting breweries, and soon, experiencing England’s first single malt distillery. The region’s history is interwoven with significant industries that have left their mark on the landscape, including quarrying, coppicing, water-powered mills, mining, shipbuilding, and prehistoric tool-making. Notably, the Lake District was instrumental in supplying Cumbrian gunpowder, known as the finest in the British Empire. The influence of hydroelectricity, forestry, and farming can also be observed, shaping the distinctive character of this enchanting region. Discover the centuries-long relationship between humankind and the land through numerous museums and attractions scattered throughout the Lake District, providing insight into its rich heritage and cultural tapestry.
