Residing in Italy, she possesses in-depth knowledge of the region and frequently guides exhilarating hiking tours while curating fresh and nutritious menus for clients. For Alix, the significance of nutrition and a wholesome lifestyle has always been paramount. She wholeheartedly embraces the Latin adage, “mens sana in corpore sano,” which emphasizes the interdependence of a sound mind and a healthy body. This belief served as the catalyst for the creation of Body and Mind, a company devoted to nurturing both physical and mental well-being.

Francesca is a highly experienced personal trainer and sports massage therapist from London, with 12 years of industry expertise gained at leading health clubs. Holding a degree in sport and exercise science, she has also received specialized training in boxing from David Haye and is a certified Master Kettlebell instructor under the late Angie Dowds, Europe’s top kettlebell instructor and former “Biggest Loser” trainer. How to get there?
Driving Directions from Florence:
Take the A1 autostrada towards Rome for 48 kilometers and take the Valdarno exit. Continue towards Montevarchi. At the roundabout, take the 408 and go under the underpass for Cavriglia. After approximately seven kilometers, turn left towards Montegonzi. Look for the signs indicating Agri-Resort La Forra, which will be about three kilometers ahead.

Arrival by Plane:
Several airports are accessible for arrival, including Siena–Ampugnano Airport, Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport, Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, and Pisa International Airport (Galileo Galilei Airport). Airport transfers are available for an additional fee, and arrangements can be made upon request. Please note that transfers are not available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Arrival by Train:
If arriving by train, you can take a direct train from Florence to Montevarchi-Terranuova, which typically takes 35 to 45 minutes. From Rome, the train journey ranges from one and a half to three hours, depending on the chosen train. Travel times from Pisa or Bologna vary but generally fall between one to two hours. For train travelers, there are set pick-up times at Tuscan Fitness at noon, 13:00, and 15:00. Departures from the hotel to the train station are at 12:30 and 14:30. Taxi transfers from the station are available for 35 EUR outside of the shuttle times.
