Experience the ancient art of traditional Hatha yoga through daily classes that include sun salutations, various postures, relaxation, Pranayama, and meditation. Classes are held every day, either in the morning or afternoon.

Embark on a guided walking meditation to a breathtaking waterfall in the Abruzzo National Park, complete with a pranayama section and the yogic technique of trataka on the sun at sunset. This meditative hike is designed to help you reconnect with yourself and nature, and will lead you to one of the park’s most stunning waterfalls located in a picturesque gorge.

Our typical daily activities include a morning yoga class, breakfast, free time for walking meditation or personal reflection, and an optional afternoon yoga class. Finish your day with a delicious dinner and the peaceful serenity of the farm surroundings.

Food

At our retreat, enjoy daily vegetarian and organic breakfast and dinner served at the farm. Non-vegetarian dinners are also available upon request, but please inform our staff in advance. We strive to be self-sufficient while creating nutritious and delicious meals for our guests, utilizing ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, potatoes, eggs, meat, olive oil, and wine sourced directly from the farm. We also accommodate dietary restrictions, offering vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free meals upon request.

All ingredients sourced from the farm are strictly organic, while those purchased from outside may not be, but we always prioritize healthy and wholesome food.

Our breakfast, served between 8 am and 10 am, is a traditional Italian meal consisting of coffee, tea, homemade seasonal jam, bread, milk, and biscuits. We also incorporate seasonal fruits and vegetables from the farm whenever possible.

Dinner is a special occasion to gather together and savor a traditional Italian meal made with wholesome food sourced from a variety of farm products. Dinner includes two dishes, typically featuring homemade pasta, followed by seasonal vegetables, fresh salad, local handmade cheese, homegrown potatoes, eggs from the farm, lentils, or beans. Non-vegetarian meals are available upon request, with locally selected meat such as steak, chicken, or pork offered for an additional cost of three Euro. Local bread accompanies the meal, and homemade wine is served for an additional cost of 2.50 Euro per half-liter.

As a special treat, all guests are welcome to enjoy the abundance of fresh organic fruit handpicked directly from our trees. Indulge in a variety of fruits, including figs, plums, peaches, cherries, persimmons, apples, pears, grapes, apricots, berries, and nuts, depending on the season.

We cater to various dietary requirements, including vegetarian, gluten-free, organic, and lactose-free options. Breakfast and dinner are included in the retreat package.

Accommodation

Stay comfortable during your retreat at Italy Farm Stay, where you can choose from different room types to fit your budget and preferences. Our recently restored rooms are equipped with a fan during the summer months and a heating unit in the colder seasons. The limestone walls of the rooms help keep them cool in the summer, so air conditioning is not necessary for most guests.

Our larger rooms can accommodate up to four or five people, while our dormitory can accommodate up to five people. We also provide a crib for families traveling with young children.

The farm itself is a vast property where you can explore, enjoy fresh fruit, spend time with the animals, relax under the shade of an olive tree, or hike along the picturesque forest trails.

For guests seeking a more affordable stay, we offer camping accommodations amidst the tranquility and beauty of the farm. You can bring your own tent and equipment or rent a tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping mat for a small fee. Our campground is situated in a beautiful area of the farm, near many fruit trees and vegetables that you can pick and eat for free. Wake up each morning to a breathtaking view of the mountains and the surrounding landscape.

Our retreat room rates are as follows: 219 euro for one person in a private tent,246 euro for one person in a shared dormitory, 285 euro for a private single room with a shared bathroom, 340 euro for a private single room with a private bathroom, and 546 euro for two people in a private double room.

Teachers

Antonello Siragusa

Meet Antonello Siragusa, the passionate founder, and host of Yoga Farm Stay. His love for yoga developed during his teenage travels around the world, where he discovered the practice while visiting India. After years of dedicated study, Antonello completed his 500 hours of TTC in 2017 and continues to deepen his practice and teach asana, pranayama, meditation, and yoga philosophy during his annual winter trips to Asia. He considers teaching yoga one of his most important spiritual practices and has made it the central activity of his eco-farm stay.

Ana Ichim

Born and raised in Romania, Ana’s journey as a yoga teacher began with her first training at Eldorado Ashram in the mountains of Colorado in 2015. After several years of self-practice, she completed an additional 200 hours of teacher training, along with 50 hours of training in Yin yoga and anatomy, solidifying her passion for teaching. In her classes, Ana incorporates mantras and leads bhajan and kirtan circles, exploring new ways to teach and infusing a combination of bhakti, traditional Hatha, and Yin yoga into her practice.

How to get there?

If you’re driving from Rome, take the A1 towards Naples and exit at Ferentino. Follow the signs to Sora and from there, the farm is just a 10-minute drive away. If you’re coming from Naples, take the A1 towards Rome and exit at Cassino. Follow the signs to Sora and then exit at Sora Centro. From Sora, it’s a quick 10-minute drive to the farm.

If you’re arriving by airplane, you can book your flight to Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport (FCO), Ciampino-G.B. Pastine International Airport (CIA), or Naples International Airport (NAP).

For those arriving by bus, you can take the bus from Rome’s Anagnina Bus Station to Sora. The bus runs frequently throughout the day, including on Sundays and holidays, and the trip costs 5.50 EUR. From Naples, you can take a bus from Piazza Garibaldi to Sora, except on Sundays and holidays. The bus company is ARPA and the trip costs 9 EUR.

If you’re arriving by train, you can catch a train to Roccasecca from Rome Termini station, then shift to Sora. From Naples, you can take a train to Cassino or Roccasecca, and then catch a bus or train to Sora. If you’re coming from Pescara, you can take a train to Avezzano and then catch a train to Sora.

Once you arrive at Sora train station or bus station, Italy Farm Stay will be happy to pick you up. Just let them know your arrival time in advance.

Cancelation policy:

  • To secure a reservation, a deposit of 14% of the total price is required.
  • If a booking is canceled, the deposit is non-refundable.
