Your Journey
As children, we are often shaped by the traumas of our upbringing, which can leave a lasting impact on our lives as adults. Some of us become “Helpers,” always seeking the good in others, open and honest, but unable to draw boundaries and easily influenced. It’s not uncommon to choose partners or friends who give us that same unstable feeling, perpetuating the cycle of toxicity.
But it’s not all doom and gloom. The Soul Tribe Travel Retreat offers a path to healing and integration of any kind of abuse, whether physical, sexual, or emotional. By using specialized techniques like breathwork, we can remove the toxic substances from our bodies that have become stuck there. Trauma can alter the chemical processes in our brains, but it doesn’t have to control our lives.
Through spiritual techniques, we can learn to recognize the higher meaning and uniqueness of our souls and life’s purpose. We must start by forgiving ourselves, understanding that we did the best we could at every point in our lives. Yoga and meditation are an integral part of the daily program, with therapists providing support and co-leading the retreat.
The journey begins with a meeting point in Rum Village, where we’ll transfer to the retreat center in the desert. We’ll start with a welcome tea and check-in, followed by a yoga or meditation session in the afternoon. After dinner, we can choose to participate in an optional ceremony and bonfire.
The following days will feature a variety of activities, such as yoga and meditation in the morning, breakfast, and healing sessions for trauma release. We’ll also have Reiki sessions, breathwork meditations, past life regression, and emotional healing sessions. A 4×4 desert tour at sunset and mindfulness walks will also be part of the program. Sharing rounds and ceremonies will allow us to connect with others and find strength in community.
Led by a team of experienced teachers, this retreat offers the chance to release trauma bonding, heal from toxic relationships, and learn to set boundaries. We’ll fall in love with ourselves, find our spiritual path, and discover our mission in life.
Food
Throughout the retreat, you’ll receive daily meals prepared by a Syrian chef and his wife who will ensure your satisfaction. They’ll offer you delectable regional dishes, including both vegetarian and typical options.
The meals provided include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as beverages such as water, coffee, and tea.
Furthermore, we cater to specific dietary requirements, including vegetarian and regular (usually containing meat and fish).
Accommodation
Indulge in the authentic experience of staying in a traditional Bedouin tent. Each tent comes equipped with two comfortable beds, which can be arranged as either a double or twin combination. Additionally, you’ll find pillows, blankets, and extra blankets to keep you warm during chilly desert nights in Spring and Autumn. While there is ample lighting available, please be mindful that our camp is eco-friendly and relies solely on solar power. Our showers are heated by the sun, so you can enjoy a hot and refreshing shower after a long day of exploration.
Our sustainable camp is powered by solar energy, and we take pride in being environmentally conscious. As such, we provide blankets, pillows, bed linen, and towels for your comfort, but we ask that you refrain from using a hairdryer during your stay. To further reduce waste, we encourage guests to bring refillable bottles for hot and cold beverages. While we offer a spot to recharge your electronic devices, we kindly request that you use this amenity only when absolutely necessary.
Our traditional Bedouin tents boast a cozy and comfortable interior, complete with fireplaces both inside and around the camp. You’ll have access to countless trekking paths to immerse yourself in the desert environment, and plenty of meditation spots to connect with your surroundings. Our shared facilities include hot showers, which are powered by solar energy. We take pride in our efforts to minimize waste and restore water to nature, so we kindly ask that you respect these initiatives during your stay.
Please note that our eco-camp does not permit the use of hairdryers due to their high energy consumption. We offer a variety of accommodations, a shared twin room for 672 euros per person, a private single room for 865 euros, and a private double room for 1249 euros per two people. With safe drinking water available, you can relax and enjoy your stay with us.
